About

rachidMy name is Rachid Bouhaj, born and raised in Morocco, coming from a humble family of 5. I have 2 brothers younger than me.

I had moved to Canada at the age on 21 to go to school, get a degree, get a job and live and have a life like “everyone else”. Goodbyes are quite hard, especially when leaving your family, friends, siblings and your close people. A few minutes before crossing the customs, my dad tapped on my back and said “Son, you are on a mission, I believe in you, make me proud” It was every emotional and I answered: I will do, dad.

Welcome to Canada, soon after; it was a big change for me. I was in culture shock mode for almost two months. I tried to convince my parents to allow me to go back; I felt like I didn’t belong to this territory, this is not my place and I shouldn’t be here. I was always asking myself these lousy questions: why did I agree to live in a -20C climate, why do I have to walk in the cold every day to get to the college, why is this happening to me, why and why…

I finally accepted the reality, and 3 years had gone by. I graduated and got a job. Yes, it’s time to make some money and enjoy life.

At the time, I had no objectives whatsoever; I was living day to day, with no goals, no results.
It took me 5 years to realize that I was living by other people’s rules; I was a follower, I was living a life that I never wanted to, a life of getting by and settling for less. I was caught in the “Get a paycheck, blow it and wait for the next one” loop sequence. This is because I was buried in a deep comfort zone.

One day, I realised that my days look very similar. Nothing changes as days turn to weeks and weeks turn to months. Then I ask myself: until when? I had no answer, and everything turned dark. I thought to myself, “Rachid, now that you are aware, things are about to change.”

I sat down and made a long list – 25 things that require a radical change in order to live a fulfilled life.

It was time to invest in myself and my knowledge. I got my first audio book online called, “The Miracle of Self-Discipline” by Bryan Tracy. I listened to it for about a month, every day, and started implementing all that I was learning into my personal, professional and financial life. I got so many “AHA!” moments… The audio book was very inspirational which motivated me to look for more.

I started looking at life differently; I found my passion and my drive, which is “HUNGER FOR SUCCESS”.

I got my hand on the famous book “Think and Grow Rich”, by Napoleon Hill. If you have not read it yet, you had better hurry up before the “train goes by”. That is what changed my life and my beliefs. Now I live by my rules. Life does not happen to me, it happens for me.

I began to study successful entrepreneurs and rich people and model what they do. I became a big fan of self-development and life coaches, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor, Robert Kiyosaki, Branden Bouchard, T. Harv Eker and my idol, Anthony Robbins. This helped me to change my beliefs and my mindset about life.

Let me share with you something that T. Harv Eker taught me in the Millionaire Mind Intensive event:

Your thoughts lead to your feelings which lead to your actions which creates your RESULTS.
This means:

Poor thoughts = Poor results
Good thoughts = Good results

Two weeks after the T. Harv Eker event, I launched my first business online, and 6 weeks later started a new one, both of which failed. Having learned from my previous experience, I launched my 3rd business which turned out to be successful.
Success
You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don’t try.
